This quick coupler garden-hose set is another fabulous buy from Harbor Freight Tools(tm). It makes connecting various hose attachments a snap without the nuisance of screwing and unscrewing the sprinklers, sprayers, extension hoses, and other accessories used frequently in lawn care. The connectors are made from brass and provide a good fit with minimal leakage. And the low price for this brass set is actually even less than most plastic fittings sold by other retailers!

Be sure to tighten the connectors onto the hose and accessories lightly but firmly with pliers to minimize leaking. Expect some small drizzles around the fittings but not much leakage considering the very low price. Better quality brass sets are available, but the cost per fitting is usually as much or greater than the price for this entire set. For outdoor watering needs, we consider the small leaks and drizzles not to be troublesome because after-all, we are watering the garden.

Finally, some reviewers have complained that the set leaks around the rubbers washers/seals after a season or two. There are two solutions to this problem: (1) Ace Hardware apparently sells replacement washers/seals (part #7207715) for around $0.75/3 washers, but (2) at this price you could simply buy another set!

Bottom line: A must have garden-hose accessory kit B), for quickly connecting and disconnecting sprinklers, sprayers, and other commonly used garden accessories.
