UBdumb Award Competition

Link: http://UBdumb.com
As a service to the University at Buffalo (still officially The State University of New York at Buffalo but progressively succeeding from the union) community, we now own www.UBdumb.com to keep abreast of the latest and most absurd antics of the University's administration. We're not opposed to 'administration,' (somebody's got to do it), just the way the UB administrators consistently make the dumbest possible move when confronted with choices affecting thousands of students and hundreds of faculty and staff members. You have to work very hard to maintain such a well-deserved reputation and constantly strive to outdo yourself. Hats off (or is it hands up?!) to the UB administrators!
The competition was fierce, but the winner of this month's UBdumb Award has blown away the competition with an act that is singularly dumb beyond comprehension. Potentially risking the lives of the students it is entrusted to "protect," Campus Police at the University at Buffalo failed to notify students, faculty, and staff members about a pair of armed robbers roaming the North Campus who were responsible for two back-to-back armed robberies.
The e-mailed warning was broadcast using the University's emergency warning system over 4 hours after the first robbery! Way to go, UB administrators (or is it UB not-administrators in this case?).
